Grand LED – Limited Warranty Statement

Products:  LED Displays and other LED related products

Duration of warranty:  24 months/ 36 / 48 / 60 months as applicable,( as mentioned in Grand LED quotes or Commercial invoice)

 

Part 1.Extent of limited warranty

 

1.1Grand LED warrants to the end-user customer that the Grand LED Products specified above will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration specified above, which duration begins on the date of purchase by the customer.

 

1.1.1 Date of purchase is as mentioned on the final invoice which is subjected to customer’s full payment been made for the product.

1.1.2 For software products, Grand LED warranty applies only to a failure to execute programming instructions. Grand LED does not warrant that the operation of any product will be interrupted or error free.

 

1.1.3 Grand LED warranty covers only those defects that arise as a result of normal use of the product, and does not cover any other problems, including those that arise as a result of:

1.1.3.a. The duration of warranty period as applicable does not cover damage to the product due to mishandling, negligence;

1.1.3.b. Improper maintenance or modification;

1.1.3.c. Software, media, parts, or supplies not provided or supported by Grand LED

1.1.3.d. Operation outside the product’s specifications;

1.1.3.e. Unauthorized modification or misuse

1.1.3.f. Improper handling of the product in case of customer’s own installation

 

1.2 If Grand LED receives, during the applicable warranty period, notice of a defect in any product which is covered by Grand LED’s warranty, Grand LED shall either repair or replace the product, at Grand LED’s option.

1.3 If Grand LED is unable to repair or replace, as applicable, a defective product which is covered by Grand LED’s warranty, Grand LED shall within a reasonable time after being notified of the defect, refund the purchase price of the product.

1.4 Grand LED shall have no obligation to repair, replace, or refund until the customer returns the defective product to Grand LED.

1.5 Any replacement product may be either new or like-new, provided that it has functionality at least equal to that of the product being replaced.

1.6 Grand LED products may contain re-manufactured parts, components, or materials equivalent to new in performance.

1.7 Grand LED’s Limited Warranty Statement is valid any country where the covered Grand LED product is distributed by Grand LED.

1.8 Customer shall retain the original sale bill and the Warranty Card, which should be shown to our Service Personnel for Scrutiny while sending your Product for service to our Service Centre.

1.9 All repairs within the duration of the Warranty period, arising from manufacturing defects will be done ‘Free of Charge’. Our Customer Service Centre will not charge you for components or labour.

1.10 Free service and replacement under Warranty does not affect the expiry date of the Warranty.

1.11 For repairs after the expiry of the Warranty period (excluding extended warranties) our Customer Service Centre will levy a nominal charge for the components replaced, and the service charges as applicable.

1.12 The Warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.

1.13 Defective components which are exchanged both under ‘Chargeable’ & ‘Free of Charge’ basis become the property of the Company.

1.14 If the Grand LED Product is tampered with or opened by any unauthorised person, the Warranty is void.

1.15 Warranty is void if the Grand Product is used for any purpose other than its sole purpose of commercial advertising or information display use.

1.16 The cost of transporting the Product to/from Customer Service Centres will be borne by the customer.

 

Part 2. Limitations of Warranty

 

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, NEITHER GRAND LED NOR ITS THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS MAKES ANY OTHER WARRANTY OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

 

Part 3.Limitations of Liability

 

3.1 To the extent allowed by local law, the remedies provided in this warranty statement are the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies

3.2 TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, EXCEPT FOR THE OBLIGATIONS SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT, IN NO EVENT SHALL GRAND LED OR ITS THIRD PARTY  SUPPLIERS  BE  LIABLE  FOR  DIRECT,  INDIRECT,  SPECIAL,  INCIDENTAL,  OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY AND WHETHER ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES

 

Part 4. Local Law

 

4.1 This warranty Statement gives the customer special legal rights as applicable in the country where the Grand LED product was purchased.

4.2 To the extent that this Warranty Statement is inconsistent with local law, this Warranty Statement shall be deemed modified to be consistent with such local law. Under such Local law, certain disclaimers and limitations of this Warranty Statement may not apply to the customer.

4.3THE TERMS IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT LAWFULLY PERMITTED, DO NOT EXCLUDE, RESTRICT, OR MODIFY, AND ARE IN ADDITION TO, THE MANDATORY STATUTORY RIGHTS APPLICABLE TO THE SALE OF THE GRAND LED PRODUCTS TO SUCH CUSTOMERS.

 

You may have additional statutory rights against the seller based on your purchase agreement. Those rights are not in any way affected by this Grand LED Limited Warranty.
